FEBRUARY TURQUOISE CHALLENGE
By Adrienne Lubbe
Colour of the Year for 2010 is turquoise.
Combining
the serene qualities of blue and the invigorating aspects of green,
turquoise
inspires thoughts of soothing, tropical waters.
With both
warm and cool undertones, turquoise pairs very well with many
other
colours in the spectrum.
The
challenge was to try a turquoise colour schemes together
with the
sketch below to create a page?
And the winner of a Scrapping hamper is...

The use of
the fine grass and the small round photos was particular good.

A close
runner up. The Potential names of all the puppies on the rounds,
which were
popped up, was a really good idea.

The play
of words on "spa/star" was very clever, as was the choice of wooden
paper giving the illusion that the deck continued onto the
page.

The arrows
with the rounds representing the people in the tug of war was very
symbolic
and well done.
Thanks to
these four ladies who entered the month challenge.
