Create a Scrapping RECYCLING
BIN
by Adrienne Lubbe
Recycle your SQUARE fruit juice container

from
this.....................................................into this!

1. Cut off the top using a craft knife.

This will reveal the inside of the container showing the
neatly finished, coated interior making it the perfect vessel
for recycling.

Wash out and dry the container thoroughly.

Adhere narrow double sided tape down the length of the container
being sure to place it in the centre of each side and on both sides
of the
corners. Also tape the top and the bottom edge of each
side of the container.

Start adhering your chosen paper. make sure to wrap the paper
around the corner. Don't start right on the corner because this will
weaken the join in the paper.

Wrap the box in the paper, cutting the excess strip of paper off as
you go.
One 12 x12 piece of paper will not go all the way around the
container
so save the piece of paper that you cut off to make up the
difference.

Straighten up the excess strip of paper.

Add more tape and adhere excess strip of paper to completely
cover the container.

Use a ribbon that is wide enough to fold in half.
Adhere two lines of narrow tape to the ribbon.

Stick ribbon over the top edge of the container so that half is
showing on
the outside and the other half is on the inside. This will neatly
finish off
the top edge of the container.

Stick the full width of ribbon around the base.
Once again start and stop on a flat stretch and not on a corner.

I chose to use some left over 7 Gypsies rub-ons to embellish the
box.
You could of course use anything from stickers to patterned paper to
photos.
Use your old stash - don't buy anything new!

Apply the rub ons randomly. Place some rub-ons so that they go over
the corners.
If they end up in the wrong spot remember you can remove them like
this.
See how to store rub-ons by clicking

Your beautifully decorated RECYCLING BIN.
Place all off-cuts of paper into this bin for easy sorting and
recycling.
An added bonus is that using a tall narrow container like this
uses very little desk space.
