These are not random numbers. This sequence of numbers is known as the Fibonacci series.

Each number is the sum of the previous two.

eg.

1+1=2

1+2=3

2+3=5

3+5=8

The Fibonacci ratio creates pleasing curves as the size or proportion of the numbers grow. These ratios or numbers create wonderful patterns in nature and you,

as a budding photographer, should keep you eye open for them.
