How to make a Mock Bow

Cut a length of ribbon (organza ribbon works well) and twist it

to form a loop as shown.

Bring the back of the loop towards the front overlap as shown.

Pinch all layers together in the centre and have another thin piece

of ribbon ready to tie the bow.

Knot the thin ribbon around the wider, pinched ribbon.

Re-shape the bow by puffing out the loops and pulling the ends

to lie nicely.

Cut the ends of the wider ribbon to form a 'V' and trim off the

thin ribbon very short or leave them longer to attach the bow to

whatever you are using it for.
