CHRISTMAS CARD PAGES TO SCRAP

Page by Adrienne Lubbe

   - Look for a card that has designs that are easy to cut out.

   - This Christmas Card had 3 Christmas trees which were cut out and placed

on the page to form a visual triangle.

   - They were already popped up with foam squares, which were just left in

place to added dimension to the page.

   - Note that the one Christmas tree was used in place of the 'A' in the word

                                                Christmas.

                                              - The 'Christmas' and 'home' lettering were cut out by hand.

   - This Christmas card had gold, shiny

      foiling, so it was therefore

matched with paper that also had

      shiny gold foiling.

   - The design was cut out with a craft

knife, starting with the inner smaller

      sections and then moving towards

      the outer edges.

  - The title from the card was trimmed

and used as an additional sub-title

      on the page.

   - The felt reindeer was pulled off the card and adhered to patterned paper to create a focal point on the

      page.

   - Patterned paper was layered together and a title added.

   - Small round embellishments were added to finish off the title. See here how to make the embellishments.

    - Sort all your Christmas cards into different themes eg. Father Christmas Characters, Nativity scenes,

     12 days of Christmas etc.

   - For this page all the Father Christmas cards were selected and punched into squares and then matted

     with red cardstock.

   - Every alternate square was raised on foam adhesive to create some interested in the border.

   - A Christmas sticker was used for the title and sub-titles, together with a Father Christmas hang label.

   - The remaining photos were placed into a fold up booklet on the page.

   - For these pages all the Nativity scenes cards were selected and punched into squares and then matted

     with white cardstock.

   - The cards blend in so well with the photos it is hard to distinguish the difference, but they illustrate the

story so well, that they form an integral part of the page.
