LINING UP RUB-ON LETTERS
by Adrienne Lubbe

Position and attach the backing paper from the rub-on to your
page using a removable adhesive such as Herma sticky dots.
This allows you to work on your page without accidently rubbing off
the rub-ons.

The backing sheet also creates a straight line as a guide line to
get the lettering
straight. This way you don't need to draw a pencil line and then
erase it
afterwards, causing damage the rub on.

I often rub the word on by spelling it backwards. That way you will
have it end
up finishing where you wanted it to, because it is very difficult to
know
exactly how the spacing of the rub-on lettering will work out.
HINT: Write out the word on rough paper first so that you
don't make a
spelling mistake, because spelling backwards is more difficult than
you think!
If you do make a mistake click here
to see how to remove it.

Here you can see the completed word, straight, correctly spelt and
nicely spaced.
