GIFT BAG CLOSURE

It is often difficult to close a gift bag ... so

follow these easy steps to create a unique closure.

You need a fairly large off cut of card stock and the gift bag.

Mark just slightly larger than the width of the gift bag on the card stock.

Trim the card stock to fit the width of the bag and then cut it it about

15cm wide.

Fold the cardstock in half and corner round the four corners.

On the folded edge, mark the width of the handles.

Cut out a shallow oval on the folded edge

and erase the pencil markings

Place gift in the bag and slip the cover over the handles.

Punch a hole through all the layers.

Attach a decorative flower with a brad going through all the

layers to keep the parcel closed.

A quick version is to pin the parcel closed with flowers and brads

without making a cover.
