Sizes of photos used: One 15 x 20 cm vertical
enlargement
One 13 x 18 cm vertical enlargement
One 10 x 15 cm standard jumbo photo
Matting: Mat all the photos on one piece of
large matting cardstock. You can leave the matting
slightly larger than normal because the photos are large
and bold, so they are not overwhelmed by the larger
matting size.
Paint chip: Get hold of paint chips from
your local paint shop. Stamp onto the paint chip with
your choice of stamp using Staz-on ink so that it does
not smudge.
Postage stamp: Our local postage stamps have some
amazing designs. Use them on your pages as
embellishments.
Chipboard shapes: The chipboard swirls at the
bottom of the page were covered with patterned paper.
See here how to
neatly cover chipboard. Lay the chipboard swirls out
on the page to see how they will overlap. Trace the
portion where the one lying on top overlaps the bottom
swirl, cut the bottom section of the swirl out using a
craft knife. That way the top one will slot into the
bottom one without creating extra bulk on the page.
Brads: See this hand hint for the
placing of the brads and
then the flattening of
the brads
Titles: Add titles with rub-ons, hand lettering
and a number plate.
