CUTTING PETALS

You might find that the flowers you have on hand are too large

and bold for your project. You can soften them by cutting up the petals.

The silk fabric cuts easily with a pair of scissors.

Cut evenly around each petal.

Double up two flowers and stitch together with a button.

What you have created is a much softer, although still large flower.
