How to use a curling tag handle

Insert the curling tag with the point facing the front so that it

sits under the little bracket.

Place a 1-1½ cm width ribbon through the gap

and on top of the curling tag.

Squeeze the handle. This will gather up the ribbon while it

squashes the soft aluminum to form a grip around the ribbon.

Release the handle and remove the curled ribbon and tag.

I used this curled ribbon to make a quick thank you card.
