THE SCRAPBOOKING TEACHER
I have been teaching simple, classic
scrapbooking where you focus on the photos since January 1999. I run
classes throughout the week as well as on weekends and I have an extensive range
of workshops as you can see from my schedule below. I organize annual functions such
as seasonal special days, weekend retreats around the country, as well as large
national events.
I stock a wide range of supplies
of patterned and plain 12 x 12 papers, albums
and many embellishments. The embellishments can be
purchased in individual units therefore making it economical and easy for you to
have access to a complete range of products.I have loads of
rubber stamps, punches, templates and
lettering (including Quick Cuts and Silhouette),
inks and paints which are available for use in the
classes. The little green book
“Expressions” co-authored by myself and Bonny Phillips, is a must have item and
is available directly from this website.
I have had pages published in Memory
Makers and Creating Keepsakes, two USA based scrapbooking magazines. My work has
also been published in all the South African craft magazines: Craftwise,
Creative Reflections, Treasured Moments,Threads
and Imagine. I have been lucky enough to
attend two Creating Keepsakes Universities in the USA, one being specifically
for teachers. While I was there I also attended two Scrapbook Expos where I won
first place in three competitions and was runner up in another. At the
International SA Expo in 2004 I was chosen as runner up to the top three “Cream
of the Crop” Scrapbookers. In 2008 I was chosen as "The Cover Girl" for Imagine
magazine in a competition that ran over 6 months.
